EMMA KLEIN
Emma Klein is a singer-songwriter known for her fearlessly-true, yet heartbreakingly-raw sound born out of the long-standing tradition of musical storytelling. In this era of her music, Emma Klein defies genre restraints, instead placing the emphasis of her music on telling the stories—both her own and those of others—that cannot remain untold. Emma does so truthfully and authentically, connecting with audiences along the way. Born and raised in Bel Air, Maryland, Emma now resides in Nashville, TN.
In 2018, Emma was a contestant on Season 17 of American Idol, making it to the show’s Top 40 contestants. Though her success on the show came to a halt after her elimination in Hawaii, Klein released her first single, “Call It What It Is,” in April of 2019 which has hit over 1,000,000 streams since its release. Her single was then promoted by American Idol’s in-house mentor, Bobby Bones, who invited her to tour with him and his musical comedy group, “Bobby Bones and the Raging Idiots.” Wide-eyed and prepared, Klein opened for The Raging Idiots all 14 dates and won over audiences with her raw talent of honest and soulful storytelling witnessed both through her songs and lively engagement with the audiences at large.
