HEIDI RAYE

heidi raye country music songwriter nashville

If you’ve ever heard the title track off Heidi Raye’s “Blame It On The Radio” 2018 sophomore EP, you’ll know that this Canadian born songstress’ upbringings are straight out of a country song.  “I was born and raised on AM waves, rolling down gravel roads, the way I walk and talk ain’t my fault, blame it on the radio.” Raye unapologetically describes the country cliche life growing up in a small town in British Columbia perfectly in her autobiographical tune.

To date, Raye, (a Harlan Howard Records’ artist) has been featured on Spotify’s Wild Country, New Boots, and Official Country Christmas playlist. Her debut EP, Worth A Shot (2017), was produced by Grammy award-winning producer Chuck Ainlay, and the title track and debut single was a Top 40 hit on the Music Row charts. Over the years this songstress has shared the stage with country legends Kenny Chesney, Randy Travis, Jason Aldean, Reba McEntire and Martina McBride. Raye also co-wrote “Working On That”, recorded by NBC’s The Voice Winner, Sundance Head. Her current single, “Drunk Girls In Bathroom Lines” is available on all music platforms.

Raye and her award winning singer-songwriter husband, Johnny Bulford, can be found live streaming their live music/variety show,  “The Johnny and Heidi Show” Monday, Wednesday and Friday on Amazon's streaming platform, Twitch. Follow ‘JohnnyandHeidi’ on the Twitch app or go to www.twitch.tv/johnnyandheidi to catch their family friendly show!
