About Matt Rogers:

Matt Rogers landed country star Randy Houser's hit song "We Went"  and has had cuts with Dustin Lynch, Thompson Square, JT Hodges and Adam Craig. Rogers also had a Canadian top 20 single on Wes Mack (“Our Soundtrack”).

In 2011, Rogers and long-time co-writing partner, Chris Weaver, scored a cut with American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks. The song, “You Gotta Want It,” is featured on Official Gameday Music of the NFL, Volume II, and Official LSU Music: Geaux Tigers. In addition, he penned seven tracks on Weaver’s sophomore release, American Dreamer, produced by Nashville powerhouse, Josh Leo. Rogers also co-wrote the IBMA Song of the Year nominee, “Coal Minin’ Man,” by two-time ICM Vocal Duo of the Year recipients, The Roys.

But music isn’t Rogers’ sole passion. With a bachelor’s degree in writing from Misericordia University in Pennsylvania, and a master’s degree from the esteemed S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in New York, Rogers has proven that his writing aptitude spans far beyond song lyrics.
